Mrs T’s husband sadly passed away from mesothelioma and she contacted WE solicitors for legal advice.
We visited her at home in London to assist her in brining a case against her husband’s former employers.
Mr T worked at Chatham Dockyard for the Ministry of Defence in the late 1960s before going to university. He worked in the stores department dispensing asbestos material to the workforce. He was also exposed to asbestos from lagging on the heating pipes and the roof structure which were all made from asbestos.
It became clear that the insurers were doing very little to progress this matter and WE solicitors commenced court proceedings against the Ministry of Defence.
In April 2009 John Green from we solicitors secured a settlement of £200,000 for Mrs T.
