It was reported in Hazards Magazine/Oct/Dec09 that a former power station worker for the CEGB at Skelton Grange suffered a massive blow when not only was he diagnosed with asbestosis but his wife contracted mesothelioma seemingly from cleaning her husbands work clothes.

The worker was employed as fitter and thankfully has been paid out an undisclosed sum in relation to both him and his wife.

WE Solicitors are currently acting on behalf a large number of former power station workers who sadly live day in and day out with the worry of what awaits them because of their previous exposure to asbestos whilst working in the power industry.

We are asking that any power station worker provide us with their details and complete a short questionnaire so that we may keep their details just in case we need witnesses for future cases.
