It was reported on the BBC that tests are being conducted on the Ferndale Estate in Wolverhampton after asbestos was discovered in residents gardens.

The estate was built on the former Courtaulds Dunstan Hall Works.

Concerns where sparked following investigations in 2005 found carbon disulphide a fluid toxic in high does was found. Some residents had to be rehoused and some being afforded the opportunity of selling their houses back to the sites former owners.
