WE Solicitors have been successful in securing compensation for a former employer of Turner and Newalls in Trafford Park and also of a company called Raycab (North) Limited, formerly known as Greengate Cables.

Our client, Nigel Foley started having breathing difficulties around 2010 and when he went to see a Chest Consultant that year he was told that his Pleural Thickening was due to a fall he had.

Mr Foley’s diagnosis was never clear to him until the expert report commissioned in this case confirmed  he had an asbestos related condition caused by his exposure to asbestos at the above two companies.

Our client was employed by T&N as a press operator and as a Vulcanising Operator by Greengage Cable.  Both roles exposed him to asbestos.

At Turners Mr Foley was cutting sheets of asbestos and no form of protection was offered to him

At Greengate Cables he had to work amongst asbestos lagged pipes, constantly brushing up against them.

Our medical evidence  supported Mr Foley’s claim and shortly after this was disclosed to the defendants they agreed to compensate our client with thousands of pounds in compensation.

If you or someone you know believes they may be entitled to asbestos compensation, contact us on 0800 294 3065 to discuss your possible claim.
